I've had this for years, but the time has come to sell my Fretless 4 String Cort Curbow. I've got new commitments now and need to look to looking after other things in my life. Me and my girlfriend just moved and I need to start a little fund so we can look to getting a mortgage. Unfortunately that's put this bass in the firing line... A couple of years ago, me and my pals entered the Live and Unsigned competition, pretty sad but we got to the regional finals before losing. It was fun though. As part of that we each got the chance to go to a clinic of a musician of our chosen instrument free of charge and I was invitied to see Stu Hamm in London. Hands down the best bass player alive today for me, and a really funny guy. He told us lots of stories about who inspired him and touring with the Satch, a great experience. My only regret was I had an early train back to get back for work the next day and couldn't stay to chat with him too long. I did take my Curbow tough and he signed it for me. I'm sad and have never estrung it since lol.. Stu played it and he even remarked on how sweet the bass felt and played, telling me the action was "perfect," made me weak at the knees haha. Anyway I don't want to sell this in hindsight, but I guess you have to put other things and people first at some point.
