cheddatom Posted January 21, 2013 Posted January 21, 2013 well the DA2 sounds perfect for bass where people sometimes struggle to get higher notes to cut through The MO2 sounds like what I've been doing with distortion combined with EQ and compression for ages... I can't wait to try them in a shop! Quote
elephantgrey Posted January 21, 2013 Posted January 21, 2013 (edited) They don't actually say what Multi-Dimensional Processing is. They say it analyses the sound in multiple dimensions, and bla bla bla, but that doesn't explain what it does... Maybe they mean they use your envelope and pitch and then modulates the effect an amount based off of them. EDIT: if so, why don't they just say so? why hide behind meaningless acronyms? dudewheresmybass Posted January 21, 2013 Posted January 21, 2013 Mdp seems to be uncannily similar to multi wave processing a la soundblox perhaps? The vids do pique my interest- they definitely deserve some play time. It'll be interesting to see the price point too Quote
tonyquipment Posted January 21, 2013 Posted January 21, 2013 I have got such an erection right now. The MO2 grabs my interest. Quote
uncle psychosis Posted January 21, 2013 Posted January 21, 2013 The MO-2 looks cool. Not convinced by the marketing spiel---from the description and sounds, I'd guess that they're splitting the signal into different frequency regions and applying the effect slightly different to each one? Quote
