Deke Megabass, custom 1984

Recently come into possession of a beautiful bass, and I was wondering if anyone had heard of the name of it?

It was made all the way back in 1984 for a mentor of mine and he's passed it down to me as it didnt get used. Its called a Deke Megabass.

not heard the name, but it could be a builder who makes one or two basses a year or something. You know what would help though? Pictures.... (i also saw your talkbass thread after googling the bass)
