Pinball
I love Sandbergs so can hardly walk past one without asking to try it out and I have gradually become aware of how their pickup choices make to the overall sound of their various models, as their are quite significant differences. They commonly have three different Pick-up choices. Most now come with either Delano or Sandbergs pups but the Umbo and the older JJ's and Panther JJ's commonly have Haussels. The Haussels have quite a traditional sound with bags of personality, Delano's are versatile and sound a little more "pure" and modern and the Sandbergs oups add a bit of power and slightly different tone. Does that sound about right? Anyway do you have a preference and why? Note: I'm getting into Haussal tone. To my ear they all sound good but Haussels hit the spot, enough power and a tone and character which suites me. I can get them to growl a bit if I want as well Edited January 22, 2013 by Pinball
