cetera Posted January 24, 2013 Posted January 24, 2013 (edited) The next bass I'm offering up in my New Year springclean/streamline is this superb Spector Rex 2000/4 bass. This bass is a popular sleek-Thunderbird type design with thru neck & EMG-Hz humbuckers. As you can see I've also upgraded it with gold hardware and customised it with high quality abalone Spector 'crown' inlay decals on the fretboard which don't interfere with fingering. They look VERY convincing, but can easily be removed if you don't like them and leave no sticky residue... Soundwise it's a monster with a very tight and focused tone, bold with a grinding edge.... really cuts through a mix with ease.... Condition is all but mint(!) - really! Barely a mark on it.... Pricewise I'm looking for £600 posted! (in the uk) with payment by bank transfer...... or cash on collection from Guildford, Surrey area or Central London. Please see my extensive positive feedback for assurance of a clean & honest transaction. Edited January 1, 2019 by cetera
mikeh Posted January 26, 2013 Posted January 26, 2013 I dont normally like basses like that, but that is a thing of beauty. Love everything about it. Shame I'm skint, but good luck with the sale.
cetera Posted January 28, 2013 Author Posted January 28, 2013 Thanks Mike - it is indeed a beautiful looking, easy playing and great sounding instrument!

Thunderbird Posted October 16, 2013 Posted October 16, 2013 Mind blowing that these basses are still here just shows how bad the market is at present not many people seem to have any money....Hope they sell soon for you mate
