It is approx 30 years old and I have had it for from new. Bought from Footes, London. It is in very good condition for its age; apart from the odd surface chip and cosmetic surface crack (Quoted £60 to repair). Comes with a new set of Spirocores, canvas and vinyl waterproof cover bag and an Underwood pickup, stand and very nice bow. I am after £1600 for the bass and extras. Any inspection welcomed. bassace Posted January 25, 2013 Share Posted January 25, 2013 I had a Meinel as my only bass for approx 15 years, originally from Footes. I sold it to a BCer three years ago for £1600. Although it doesn't have the complexity of, say, a Bryant it's got a lot of projection and clarity. I used to get many compliments.
