Inevitably got to talking about some of the exotica from the time, gear that we both craved but just couldn't afford, I'd forgotten about Bone Basses, had a quick look on t'internet and would you believe that they're still making instruments, 4 string basses for $1700.. This equates to about £1075 - If I recall correctly they were about this price back then.
