PURPOLARIS Posted January 27, 2013 Share Posted January 27, 2013 (edited) I bought these from Rick's Fine '52 with the intention of using them in my Acoustic trio, unfortunately the rest of the band weren't as keen on them as I was so as they're sitting around doing nothing I thought I'd offer them to someone that might use them. If I had the space they'd be sat in my living room either side of the telly wired up to the amp but I don't so they have to go. Ricks description of them is below. (hope you don't mind Rick) These are late 60's (Believed to be '68), pair of Fender columns. Each contains 4x8" speakers. Very cool pair, rare in the UK. Black tolex, with cream tolex inner panels. The two 60's Fender badges are worth £50 each!! The last pair I saw in the UK sold for £400. I'm looking for £200 £175 collected. I've never even plugged them in......I'm sure they work?? They do :-) I'd like to get my money back for them or would possibly trade for something interesting, let me know what you've got.
