Hi!
Cause I don't use anymore the B string, I decided to sale my wonderful Lakland 55-94 USA Deluxe Bass made in Chicago in 2004.

Equiped with Bartolini pickups and preamp which are originals (like all the others parts on this bass except the knobs, wich have been replaced by custom black metal knobs but I still have the originals).

Perfectly setted, great low action and amazing growl!
Strings are DR Lo Rider in 45/105 with 130 for the B.
Flame maple table and birdeye maple fingerboard, swamp ash body (very light), quarter-Sawn Rock Maple with Graphite Reinforcement Bars.

Here are the complete specs:

It is clearly the best built instrument which I have never had!
For the story, Lakland was establishedin 1994 by the bass player Dan Lakin and the instrument maker Hugh McFarland.
Their purpose was to combine, in a single instrument, the sound of 3 Leo Fender's legends namely:

- Musicman Stingray
- Precision
- Jazz Bass

And very honestly we can feel it! The preamp developed by Bartolini specially for Lakland allows, besides reproducing these sounds larger than life, to have a whole pallet of sounds really interesting.
The most versatile bass I know, really!

Electronics is 3 EQ (bass, mediums, treble), we also have a balance, a volume, and a switch which allows to select the winding inside the MM pickups.

Everything works marvelously on this bass, it play like butter, a complete happiness! The only "dings" are the 3 & 4 millimeters in diameters on the lacquer between the neck pickup and the neck (visible on the photos of the album).
.
But lacquer is not crack, it's rather like an air bubbles under an ice surface.
It is not clairvoyant, especially that it is "concealed" by the "drawings" of the maple.
It is a great light bass, about 9 Lbs which is very light for a 5 strings bass. The body in swamp ash is very well for that.

Please note that I still not have the original Lakland hardshell case but a Gator (that I prefer moreover because lighter to transport but it protect very well).

Asking for 1900€ (£1660) (without shipping).

Shipping in EU available for about 60€ (£55) with insurrance.
This price is negotiable!

TRADE POSSIBLE WITH OLD STINGRAY, SPECTOR NS-4H2, FENDER PRECISION DELUXE....
