Very clear and articulate, quite HiFi really, but with loads of bottom end. If you back off the mid and horn you can get a really nice "creamy" bass tone out of it. I tend to leave the Mid/High attenuators in the 12 o' clock position and just tweak the amp for the surrounding acoustics. I really cuts through the mix and is built like a tank. [/quote] I am a great believer in you get what you pay for and frankly I do not think the EAD is overpriced. The design and build of it is better than any commercially available cab I have come across, and that is quite a few a lot of which were more expensive than the EAD and not half as well made.
