spacey Posted January 29, 2013 Author Share Posted January 29, 2013 (edited) Yes MDF, they did make em, chambered under the pick guard , very light weight, extreme sustain, almost an acoustic bass and very very rare indeed. It was the era where different materials were experimented with by bass makers, carbon, mdf, polycarborn. Think piano sustain tone as opposed to thud tone of bass wood.
