Teebs Posted February 22, 2020 Posted February 22, 2020 Matamp. My Ibanez Promethean practice amp had an input stage problem - @Taylor beach-blues recommended Matamp in Meltham, West Yorkshire. Proper old school electronics engineer who fixes things rather than just swapping boards. Youse jokers should have a better idea than me of how to divvy up the UK so recommended techs can be found in a search of the driveable regions from the unfortunate with the smoked amp. I will work on anything that is not surface mount (I don't have the gear or the eyesight for that!). I've repaired many valve amps, solid state as well as bass wiring and speakers and keyboards - in other words I'll have a go at most things! Quote
