BILL POSTERS
Right, I'm after some advice here. I have a Fender Bassman 100 Silverface, Electrically refurbed it a year or two ago, its not getting used much so I.m considering selling it. It from th mid 70s, and very roadworn. Just small tears wear, and grubby really, but would it fetch a better price Re-covered or as it is ? Also got other well worn amps that will probably be going soon, (Not yet though) So the same applies really.
LukeFRC
It's not really 'will it reach a better price' - as the answer will probably be yes- it's will the better price be better by more than the cost of the refurb. Personally if I were buying I would care more about the electronics and valves (which you've taken care of) than the cosmetic appearance. But that's just me! Mr. Foxen
If you can get it refurbed, then mention this as an option when you sell, for additional cost, emans the buyer has the choice, and you only need to put in the effort if necessary.
