jembullo Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 A bit like choosing between your kids this one.......which one would you take and why? bit of fun but might help me in the long run! Interested in your replies. Quote
discreet Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 Don't forget you're going to need a generator and a good supply of diesel. Oh yes, and food and water. Have I missed the point, d'you think..? Anyway, I'd take a Mesa Boogie 400+ (and 810), so that passing ships and aircraft would hear it and rescue me. Quote
molan Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 (edited) Aguilar does it for me every time Just about the best live amp I've ever used. The Orange might be more fun if it was really just you on a desert island on your own though. Edited February 1, 2013 by molan Quote
jackers Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 out of the two you posted, I would take the aggie. While I prefer the Orange for basic tone, the aggie has more variety available, which would keep me busy for longer Quote
discreet Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 Oh well, if I have to choose one of those pictured, I'd definitely take the Orange. It's more... fruity. Quote
Dad3353 Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 You're going to be building a raft with one of those..? Quote
Mr. Foxen Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 My W horn cab can be turned into a boat by undoing 10 bolts. Quote
Ghost_Bass Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 (edited) I would go for the Aguilar, yu can use it to knock coconuts down by banging with it on the tree without worring about ruining the valves and that seems like a soft case rack so it will be better as a pilow! Without a bass or cab both would be pointless for anything else But if there were a bass and a cab i would still take the Aggie Edited February 1, 2013 by Ghost_Bass Quote
VTypeV4 Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 Personally, It'd be the Orange out of those two. I tried one at the guitar show in brum years ago and it was great. It was much better than the Warwick amps I tried that day. Never tried the Ag. My own choice would be a 400SMX Trace w/410 and 115 because it would do 'my' sound and lots of others to boot! Quote
