Turntable lids ..i need one .where do i get one?

No, they're not all the same
Some f***er melted the lid for my Rega Planar 3 by burning incense on it...
Incensed was exactly what I was.
FFS! Who burns sticks on a turntable?
Worse still, I didn't notice it for a week, and couldn't find out who did it.

Do Pink Triangle even still exist? Try them.
You might be able to get a generic (fabric) dust cover, but it won't protect your tonearm much..

Found out a bit more about my turntable. It's an LPT (little pink thing). There is a cover called mitchell unicover. But it only covers the arm and platter.
That costs £55 approx. I may wait till I see one on ebay. Thank goodness for the web, which wasn't around when I purchased this

I suppose the Michell UniCover does a job but It doesn't hinge up and only covers the platter and arm. And its £55!!
You could just flip the felt mat over when you need to play a record, or give it a little hoover off every now and again?
Have you got a carbon fibre brush? They are an essential for giving the vinyl a quick de-dust before playing and very cheap. I've also got a little 'stylus cleaning' carbon fibre brush which does the trick.

finding an original cover is likely to be close to impossible, i'd be looking to have one made, there are various companies who could make a perspex box to fit over the whole turntable. a quick search throws up these companies who seem to be able to produce custom one-offs, might be more expensive than the Michell cover but would provide much better protection

what are the dimensions of the LPT?
you might be in luck if they match something more likely to be available - like a rega.
the hinges are unlikely to fit but you may well get a lid you can lift on and off.
