weepaul
Greetings, A friend recently bought one of these bass's, and the bridge wasn't sitting right. On closer inspection, he found a piece of plastic had been placed underneath the bridge for some reason. Also,it appears the bridge screws have stripped out, any suggestions ? Could there be any long term problems ? Cheers, Paul.
icastle
The only thing I'd expect to find underneath the bridge is a piece of wire - could this plastic be an unstripped piece of wire? If so, strip it so the bare metal is showing and put the bridge back over it. Which screws on the bridge are stripped?
Grangur
Can you please post some pics? If you're talking about screws holding the bridge to the body being loose cos they've stripped their thread in the body, then I'd fill the holes with Araldite. Let it set hard and redrill the holes to re-fit the bridge.
weepaul
No probs, I'll try and get ahold of it and put some pics up as soon as I can. Cheers.
