[/quote] It cost me a few quid to have my Sei repaired when I managed to let go of the handle of the soft case and dropped it from a height of probably less than a foot. It goes in a hard case now. [/quote] Ha, no way. No one touches my instrument but me. I also put it back in the case in between every set. That's why after years of gigging my basses don't have a mark on them. Why not just carry your instrument around without a case on the back seat of the car and use a plastic carrier bag for your pedals, tuner and rats nest of assorted cables? Do you use it much? [/quote] For playing, never. It comes in handy if I add a shim, just to keep strings in the nut slots when removing the neck, or if I'm swapping my necks over. And strap locks [b]would[/b] mean that taking it on and off is a doddle, but the standard Schaller strap lock screws don't fit into the Ibanez holes... (Pop one or two in the whole, cut of the excess and screw the schaller in) A lot of people add some glue too but i've never needed to. Either that or get some Dunlops instead.
