lapolpora Posted February 4, 2013 Share Posted February 4, 2013 (edited) I've decided to sell my Focusrite Platinum Octopre LE. It's basically an 8 channel mic preamp/instrument DI. Great for recording multiple mic/instrument sources and this example has the optional ADAT digital out board fitted. The Platinum mic preamps themselves are good quality for the price range. Very much in keeping with the rest of the Platinum range and you'd have to pay considerably more for an improvement on what this offers IMO. You can plug in 8 mic sources or 8 instrument sources (or a combination of both) and it outputs via its digital ADAT and 8 analogue line outs simultaneously. I bought this to record a live gig with all the mics going into this - the ADAT going into my audio interface/laptop, and the analogue outs feeding the front of house desk. It worked a treat, but hasn't had a lot of use since. It is in as new condition and comes with power supply, original box and manuals.
