Anyone know of a DI box, cheaper than Radial's JDI, that has 2 inputs which can be merged into one output?

Would like a JDI but they're over my budget.

I've read that the Rolls DB25B can possibly do this but haven't found any real confirmation, also, anyone know if the 1/4" and XLR inputs on the Behringer DI100 can be used simultaneously?

I suppose I could just get a passive mixer (both sources are low impedance) and link that to a DI, but it'd be nice to have it all in one box.

all the inputs on the DI100 are wired in parallel, so you should be able to use all 3 ins if you so wish (XLR, input and link)

Thanks ahpook, I'll give it a shot!

Didn't really realise the link on the DI100 could be used as an in as well, I thought it was only an unbalanced out. Very useful.

worthwhile bearing in mind that if you put two gutars/basses into the inputs then the output impedances of the instruments will dictate how they mix together.

i just plugged a bass and a guitar into the link and input jacks of my DI100 and the mix of the two depended on the volume controls of the two instruments - not ideal but tweakable to some extent. i'd imagine running each instrument into a buffered pedal before the DI could help to stop the interaction.

Being a passive DI box I thought that might possibly be the case. I'm planning to run 2 different POD units, basically acting as preamps, into the DI100. I figure I should have plenty of room to mix and match the volume of the two paths.
