clashcityrocker Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 As above really,got a jazz active and my first gig with it last night I noticed how worryingly easy the volume knob moves itself (and the stacked bass/treble) the other two knobs are nice and stiff. Any idea how to stiffening it up?took the control plate off and was scared off by the millions of wires! Thanks alot Quote
Acebassmusic Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 On the back of the pots there are usually some metal wrap over tabs that hold the assembly together. I have found by GENTLY tapping or pressing on them it can tighten the controls. Just remember to do it a little at a time and evenly on all tabs, other wise..... Quote
