Silvia Bluejay
On a different note - I've finally written that blog entry! If you read it you will notice that I've been rather sparse with people's names throughout. Please feel free to either comment on the blog itself, or here in this thread, or PM me, and let me know if you'd like me to add your name when you appear in a photo, or if someone's playing your bass, etc. The blog can be edited at any time. And obviously, give me a shout if I got something wrong. Another question. I recorded several short clips of Laurence playing bass for us, from the "12 bar blues in G" that quickly becomes an awesome jazz improv to other bits of basslines he played while talking to us. Anyone know how to ask him for permission to upload one or two of them and link them to the blog? Mick, Lozz? The blues in G, for instance, is utterly awesome, and those who weren't at the bash might enjoy it. Thank you all in advance! Twigman
There was also the alternative to buying a mass-produced bass or even getting one made especially for you – a beautiful, highly personalised instrument, lovingly built by its owner from Warmoth parts.
that was me.

Happy Jack
Nice blog Silvia, and I was genuinely surprised that I could actually play a couple of half-decent riffs on an upside-down lefty!
Silvia Bluejay
Thanks Jack! And of course a mere lefty-stringed instrument is not going to stop you grooving on bass, is it?

Balcro
I know it's a long time back, but I'm always losing stuff and in this case I had a substitute so didn't worry immediately. Did anyone find a stray hand-held off-white Korg tuner at the June Bash? I think it was a Korg CA-1 or very similar. Thanks, Balcro.
