Guitar rig 5

Hi,
I downloaded this,and I'm going through a Behringer guitar link into my laptop.
Everything seems o.k.,but I'm getting no volume and it appears as if its not recieving any signal from my bass.

This is all new to me,so I bet its (hopefully)something simple.
Any ideas what I'm missing ?

If you haven't already go to file> audio & midi settings to check GR recognizes your Beri as input...

A window like this will appear - I've never used a guitar link but it may be that it shows as an unnamed generic usb device.

I'm getting sounds now (hurrah!!!!) but theres a slight delay (boo).
Is this easy sorted ?

In that same window check that you are using the ASIO driver, then go to the ASIO config box and try to get the sample rate as low as you can without introducing glitches.
Try to get below 10ms if you can... I'm not sure if the Beri can do this - but good luck
