iconic
I've just come across an ad' for the the VMJ in 3TS, tort PG and basswood body....I've never heard of these before? I loved my old 2010 VMJ maple body, but didn't enjoy the weight of that old boat anchor ...the £230'ish price sounds nice too! I knew there were two flavours, but not 3? KiOgon
Google suggests they're around https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=Squier+Vintage+Modified+Jazz+sunburst&oq=Squier+Vintage+Modified+Jazz+sunburst&aqs=chrome.0.57&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-
redstriper
They've been around for quite a while now and there's a 4th model too - the limited run sunburst with blocks and binding. I've never played one, but I know the weights vary from approx. 7.5 lbs to 9.5 lbs because I called a shop in Sheffield who had a few in and they weighed them all for me. gjones
I'm sure it's a great bass as the standard Squier was fantastic value for the money. I don't think there is a standard Squier between the affinity and VM range anymore - at least I didn't see one advertised the last time I checked the Squier website. [/quote] I'm guessing the Basswood 3TS would be the lightest, with the Maple being the heaviest, by a long chalk.....sunburst and blocks sounds great too.
