Could be a great Opportunity

Hello folks,

We have been approached by a band from France to do a mini-tour, A week there and then they join us here for another week. The band are old friends of our singer, who's French and happens to own a house In Carcassonne where the other band is from. It looks like all we need to do Is book flights and feed ourselves. The band have offered us the use of their equipment too.
My big worry Is the return leg, crap weather, crappy venues and no house for them to crash at, backpackers I think instead.

Are there any problems anyone can see? Or is it just a good way to gig in the sun.
