molan Posted February 9, 2013 Posted February 9, 2013 Check this out - he plays 100 guitar riffs back to back in a single take and it's all tabbed out: http://www.soundslice.com/yt/xiC__IjCa2s/ Quote
bobbass4k Posted February 9, 2013 Posted February 9, 2013 That was very impressive, I wonder how many takes it took it though, he looks very glad to have gotten the slide on in time for that black crowes riff and I think that's the speediest drop tuning I've ever seen. Pretty decent riff choices too, surprised there was no Kyuss or QOTSA though, and Hysteria was a pretty odd Muse choice for guitar, but it was great to finish on Cruel, St. Vincent is a very under-appreciated guitarist. yepmop Posted February 9, 2013 Posted February 9, 2013 I did enjoy that, without looking I scored 86 out of 100 by naming either the song or band Quote
essexbasscat Posted February 10, 2013 Posted February 10, 2013 Wonder what effects box he's using ? Thanks for posting that Barrie Quote
thisnameistaken Posted February 10, 2013 Posted February 10, 2013 He really likes his Jack White eh. Shows you how much you can do with a strat too - let's hope guitarists' wives don't see this video. Quote
Lord Sausage Posted February 10, 2013 Posted February 10, 2013 How dare he play covers and not totally original art, what a disgrace! Quote
discreet Posted February 10, 2013 Posted February 10, 2013 He is a bit of a whoreclown, but I found it entertaining though. Quote
peteb Posted February 10, 2013 Posted February 10, 2013 Very cool...! I'm also amazed at how quickly he manages to detune.... Quote
pnefc42 Posted February 10, 2013 Posted February 10, 2013 (edited) Great to see 'I believe' from the Darkness in there - that song is sheer rock poetry!! OldG Posted February 11, 2013 Posted February 11, 2013 I'd seen it before - but not with the tab... I'll end up wasting a few hours playing along ( until the lightning drop D bits) Quote
Marvin Posted February 11, 2013 Posted February 11, 2013
Doesn't work with Opera...
It's rare to find guitar riffs in Opera Quote
essexbasscat Posted February 11, 2013 Posted February 11, 2013 Which one of us is going to be the first one to record 100 bass riffs/runs in a row ? Quote
