TC Electronic BH500 or Carvin BX500

Hello Bassers,

Am about to sell all my kit (Ampeg BA115, Boss ODB3, Zoom B2) to help fund a new amp and cab.

What are the thoughts on TC Electronics BH500 in comparison to Carvin's BX500.

Also, would they go well with the Genz Benz Focus 210 cab?

I have read good things (and a little bad about the Carvin QC). It will be much easier to try out a BH500.

Music played is a good mix of harder rock to melodic almost folky funky rock.

Phone Bass Gear in Reading and talk to Phil. Apparently, his go to amp for gigging is the BX500 and he has a full shop full of delights to choose from.
