KingBollock Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 A Thrum of Bassists was the first thing that popped into my head when I read the thread title. A school/shoal of Bass... Quote
fumps Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013
Can't believe no-one's mentioned a PRIDE of bassists yet! Probably because it's about as funny as a burning orphanage.
Your a bass player pride has nothing to do with it Quote

chris_b Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 Do bass players collect? In my experience they’re solitary types that only came together around the BC waterhole. Quote

Bass Lady Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 A "growl" of bassists or for the fretless players a "mwah" of bassists................ Quote
Conan Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 As we exist purely for the entertainment of whores, maybe a "dildo" of bassists would be appropriate? Or as we are also clowns, maybe a "circus" of bass players? I'm sure Inti could come up with a few pithy suggestions... Quote

RandomBass Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 A rumble of bassists was my thought too. Quote
bassace Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 (edited) To be pedantic, you don't usually get bassists playing together unless it's in a classical context when it's a section. Otherwise just bassists together I suppose it's a winge (BG) and a support (DB). Runs for the door. Ps, just a thought, Barristers have a Chambers, so why not DB players? borisbrain Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 Of those I've read so far, I'd say a Shadow and a Groove are my faves. But if I had to choose one of my own it would be: a thicket of bass players... BB Quote
