Bassulike66
Forgive my ignorance and no offence to owners of these basses but is this how much these things are fetching these day's?! Iv'e seen these go for pence over the years...if they now sell at this price i wished i had snapped a few up along the way! LukeFRC
Hello Saw this bass. It looks a lot like the warwick thumb I've been longing for for a long time. How much does it weigh? You say it has "same exotic woods, hardware & quality electrics and fittings as its famous brother..." so is that wenge and bubinga neck and a bubinga body, and MEC active pickups, is it a two band active MEC EQ or a three? Also you say it's got the same fittings as a Warwick but then say they are gotoh which is it? Gotoh or Warwick fittings (which were Schaller until they made them in house I think) ? Like I said I've been wanting a Warwick Thumb for the last ten years and this looks like an afordable option! oh is it a neck through too or bolt on? cheers

discreet
Could be worth it. After all, it's not a Warwick.

tall_martin
No they go for around £200 ish. I bought one off here a few months back and its ace. There have been a few up recently that have gone for around 200-300. Someone will make a tidy profit if the ebay one goes at that price. LukeFRC
Hi there, OK if it had the same hardware pickups and woods as a Warwick than it would be a Warwick. You have to remember this a thumb clone, it has the same pickup placement with a 2 band active EQ system, exotic woods, same caliber of tuner's, 5 bolt neck join ETC... but at a 3rd the price of a Warwick. It's a little heaver than a Warwick but feels, sounds, plays just like one. Kind Regards, Daz. tauzero
While they're reasonable basses, they're hardly worth that, considering that with a bit of luck you can buy a real Warwick Thumb NT for £300 less than that.
