I originally bought a behringer 350 watt head and 2x10 plus horn cabinet off a BC member to get me back in the game in what I thought was going to be a nice little rock and roll 4 piece that gigged regularly in the local area.

Been doing fine with this humble rig till they mentioned 800 people invited to their NYE gig - realised that I would need somthing a little more manly!

So I bought a pair of 10" 300 watt Celestion Neo greens, planning on just dropping them into the Behri cab.

They arrived and were MUCH smaller than the holes for the Behringer, so after exploring several options I found a member on here selling a shallow Ashdown 210 plus horn cab with a dead horn.

After having discovered that it too didnt quite line up, I bought some circular grills and now have a rather nice Ashdown grill spare if anyone wants it!
Oh, and 2 10" 100 watt Ashdown speakers!

Anyway, I also discovered a couple of piezo horns I had bought in the seventies (!) languishing in a flight case in the attic, one of which was fitted and I did my first gig with the new, louder (I hoped) lighter cab.

Farted like a trooper. When I got it home I discovered that the piezo I had fitted was not very well, but since I had two, I tried the other one and BINGO! All working fine.

The only down side was that the poor little Behri amp could not keep up, so I went to Digital Village in Cambridge looking to try out some better more powerful amps.
Derned if they didnt have the 450 watt into 4 ohm version of the Behringer amp in stock used for....£99.

So I now have a nice loud rig that actually doesnt sound half bad at all for almost no money laid out!
I can finally get louder than our guitar player!
Course it does look a little weird and has a nasty habit of terrorising the angry peasants round here, but...

So once again thank you to all who participated in the creation of this little monster. One handed lift and 600 watts!
