New band funk bass heaven song suggestions??

Just started with a band with great musicians and the remit is to do a smattering of songs that people know and then a bunch songs that we can get our rocks off to. Any other suggestions of great bass tracks that I can put to the lads.....

Check out John Cleary and the absolute monster gentlemen.
They have a killer track called More Hipper which grooves like a b*tch!!

It's a bit of an extravagant version compared to the album track but the groove from 2:49 is kinda what I was thinking of....
