P/J pickup choice

I have a P/J config bass with a SD Quater pounder in the P position.

The stock single coil J pickup is very noisy and I'd like to replace it, perhaps with a dual coil J pickup.

Can anyone with some knowledge recommend a suitable hum cancelling replacement that would play well with the QP?

Seymour Duncan Hot-Stack. Had one in an Aerodyne Jazz. Stopped the humming, and was a lot more full sounding, plus ballsier, than the stock pickup.
