roonjuice Posted February 15, 2013 Posted February 15, 2013 (edited) Hi Guys, I landed this beaut off Shine182 (Alex) last week or so on impulse as we live about 12 yards from each other. Its a fantastic sounding jazz, I've used it in a couple of rehearsals and my band mates all commented on the "growl", It's all original, all working and and mean looking, (Alex didn't mention the neck has some lovely tiger stripe/flaming too!) I'm gonna move it on before I get attached to it or it sits getting unused I bought it to take the role of my 78j but I just don't really get on with maple necks. I paid £475 but would be happy to trade with something RW/Ebony/Graphite too (trading up also cool) Let me know what u think guys! roonjuice Posted February 21, 2013 Author Posted February 21, 2013 can honestly say it sounds monster, which is why I got it hoping I could deal with the maple. if it doesnt sell, I will keep it, whack a graph neck and a badass on it, and have it as the meanest of all stealth basses.
