I thought that Bobby Caldwell played most of the instruments on that LP but i could be wrong. I have the LP somewhere so will dig it out and have a look.

I've just checked the CD and it doesn't list who played on what tracks but on that LP the bass was played by either Bobby Caldwell, George 'Chocolate' Perry, Richie Valesquez & John Paulus*.

*John Paulus is listed on the CD insert but NOT on the original vinyl LP.

Seriously amazing tune so so smooth. Love the brass as well.

Yes it's a really good tune. Although there are other musicians listed on the LP Caldwell plays Synthesizer, Keyboards, Guitar, Drums, Bass & Vibes!!

I'm just reading the sleeve notes of the What You Won't Do For Love & Cat In The Hat LPs (which both used near enough all the same musicians) and they were recorded in 1978 & 1980.
I bought these when they were released and can't believe it was that long ago!!!!
