Hi,

I'm using my MM 3EQ stingray through MarkBass LMK & Aguilar GS212 and wondered where people generally had their Stingray EQ set on the guitar. I seem to like the sound set with just a touch on of top, middle and bottom. Are there any top tips in terms of Stingray EQ?

i use little mid on my Ashdown combo then Bass up, treb down on the 'ray,
But I guess its all preference.

On my cutlass and stingray I have the following : bass +75%, treble +50% or less depending on how old vintage-y I need the sound.

Usually the bass on full and the treble either on or off, depending on the dynamics of the song.

I blend all magnetic (piezo bridge) full bass, treble about 10% mid about 1%, just ever so slightly forward of the detent.

I usually have full bass and between half and full treble on the 2 band depending what i'm doing.

Flat with a tiny bit of mid and treble taken off

3/4 boost bass, just a bit over the notch mids, and half boost treble when playin clean

usually roll back bass and treble to flat when using most effects

It really depends on what I'm playing through. It's good to be able to fiddle with the eq on the bass rather than the amp, especially if it's not your amp.

+ Bass, backed off Mids, touch of Trebs.... Flat Amp, or Mirrored to Bass....
