Fuzzrocious Pedals appreciation

Yeah Rat with a 2nd od is what I'm running. Although might not work in a smaller enclosure (you'd want 2 switches).
Could do a Dark Driving with a boost, have it always on but 1 switch for boost as you said.
"full on" is why i got the rat tail! My BB preamp does me for a 'nice' OD, and I have a TFR for fuzz - but I needed a NASTY distortion, so RT for the win I think!

I officially need a bigger pedal board! won a nice analog CE-5 chorus on the 'bay this week too :)
Got Kev's and formerly Shep's Grey Stache on the way, If I can snag a cheap Mastotron too I think my dirt section might finally be complete, until I get the urge to replace the Turbo Rat with a Rat Tail of course...

I was almost trading my Rat Tail for that, PM me if it doesn't work out for you :P (it will)

Cool, I might end up taking you up on that actually, I've never been quite sure the muff sound is for me, I had a Green Stache a while ago before he started doing the Grey Staches and I liked it but it was too noisy and got lost in a mix, so the idea is a gate and a mids control will remedy that but it might still not be for me.

Well, I've got a Demon King on the way and was keeping the Rat Tail for crazy stuff but the more I listen to samples I get GAS for the Grey Stache!

The Stache sounds even better when getting pushed by other stuff too. So get that Demon King feedback pushing the Stache ;)
BDPG into Stache is the one!

Allow me to quell your depraved appetite:

Photographed, by a completely bizarre coincidence, on a vinyl featuring Ant's band.

well, rather quicker than I'd expected, my Quint (from Jaws) Rat Tail has shipped...

now for the daily (hourly!) checking of the UPS website :)

Looks sweet man! USPS tracking drove me up the wall, said my package was stuck in one place in the US, sent an email to enquire and what should show up at my door 10 minutes later? :)

Here are mine (one will be familiar), had a brief time with a Rat Tail but it didn't really suit my band so much so traded for the Grey Stache to provide occasional craziness. I *love* the Demon King

Had a band practice last night and it looks like this Grey Stache could become a regular feature at Bass Chat as I've had to put it in the classifieds!

I love it for taking it up to the next level but it didn't go down so well with my mates and after trying a few settings it was obvious it wasn't going to work out. I'd love to keep it but I can't really afford to have it just for noodling around in the house.

I have truly sacrificed myself to the Demon King though, I'm flogging all my pedals and rocking the DK and a tuner!
i dont think you'd need one to be honest! not on the rat tail anyway, i mean, you can set it for sounds that have less low end, but there is plenty of bottom on tap! sounds amazing.

but shoot Ry an email (or tweet @fuzzrocious) and im sure he'll let you know right away.
I've had the Rat Tail, Green Stache and Demon King and haven't found any of them to be lacking low end.

That said, I am thinking about ordering a customised Demon King and would probably get a clean blend added just for kicks.

I'm sure it has plenty of bottom end but I like to have control over the amount of clean and blend to taste, it works better for me.

I'll contact him, cheers!

ahh yeah! makes total sense!

i like the high/low clipping knobs on the rat tail, roll them back to reduce clipping on the high and/or low notes
