andytoad Posted February 19, 2013 Share Posted February 19, 2013 Hello all, I have a TE V6 head and am looking to up grade my cabs, I currently have an SWR 1x15 and SWR 4x8. Im thinking a 2x15 with tweeter or something simlilar. A deep sound with a nice top. tonyf Posted February 19, 2013 Share Posted February 19, 2013 I've had both a V6 and a V8 at various points. Both sounded monsterous with Ampeg cabs. An 810e was fabulous but like wheeling a coffin around but the best bang for buck was a 410HLF. Massive bottom end for a 4x10 but with ooodles of punchy mids and a crisp top end. longtimefred Posted February 19, 2013 Share Posted February 19, 2013 i ran my V4 with an SVT410HLF for a couple of years and it was great, perfect 1 cab solution but as you can run 2 ohms, 2 of these would be the most killer thing ever!
