Hey :)

I have a Yamaha TRB5 made in 1994 and unfortunately the treble pot does not work. I was wondering if anyone had the original preamp diagram? Or if anybody has any ideas on how to fix this? That would be brilliant.

Cheers :)

Right here's the whole of the preamp. The Treble is the one on the lower right.

Hey Myke, if you can post pictures of your pot & wiring I might be able to suggest a replacement.

Thank you very much :)

Also I thought to add. When I move the pot the round metal bit in the pictures wobbles, where as when I tried with the Bass pot (which works) it did not

Good pics but unfortunately not enough info to see, it needs proper investigating, can't diagnose from here, may well be a fault in the circuit/components & not necessarily the actual pot that's the problem.

Do you have access to a multimeter? I would start by just checking the pot itself to ensure it is contacting, not hard to do.
I'm pretty sure if it is the pot that you could find an alternative pot to use if it is that.
