Skyline, or 850 is silly money and to be frank Skyline's are better value for money and are way up there with the US models at a fraction of the cost. Bump on me!

+1 to that. Tried the Skyline vs US test blind a few years back and without looking I couldn't really tell the difference. The US felt a bit more played-in if I was pushed to make a judgement, but no more than the well played 55-01 I had for a while.

I'd be very interested in this if I a) had the money and didn't have a desperate dislike of black blocks on maple boards!

Thanks Guys it is indeed a Skyline, its an Ash body (trans Butterscotch) but still lightweight and a lovely bass to play.......
