74 Precision Natural/Maple

It feels sooooo comfy old shoes....

Was originally natural.
Years of club play = nicotine browning and such, so the guy
stripped back to base coat then aborted his effort at varnishing.

Could either leave it or rub out the 'new' varnish and then leave, or throw a coat of nitro onto it.
Tempted to to a total re-do on it - but the logo is orig. Even though it shows how brown the varnish had become at the time of stripping, I like to leave stuff orig.

Refretted - some scratches on board, but it is set up low and plays tip toply.

Replacement scratchplate.

I didn't have screwdrivers with me when I saw it and only had a tiny combo to try it.
Had cheap Japanese pots and input, and only half the pickup worked.

I had my tech go through it, so it is now wired right with good bits.
I had a half a Schecter P pickup - old big slug Schecter pickup, best P pickup I ever heard -
so he wired that in with the orig half.
Comes with orig other half so you can rewind - or not - it sounds great!

Anyway, there are lots of things that that add up to "not a £1500" bass.
So it isn't.
Worth half, though.

£750 caseless delivered or £800 in a Hiscox.

Here are two shots to give you the idea.
Lots more on request - just gie us yer email.
