It doesn't really say much about the relative quality of the guitars, since they were mostly trying to feel details like the size of the frets, neck profile, and even sniffing to see if it smelled like a nitro finish. I wonder how they would have done in a listening test?

I agree but it's only a bit of fun....stangely I would say I've found that all my 'good' bass's all sound 'lively' unplugged with my Yammy A2 being the zingyist by far. ...the sheds have have all sounded 'dull'.

I hope they do it with basses and plug them in to hear the tone differences.
The price difference between a Squier and a custom shop Fender is extreme.

I thought that was VERY brave, and very interesting. I met the long hair last week when my mate tried a bunch of amps and took a Vibroverb away. They were very helpful and very nice to deal with.
