Status Electro is the price right?

I saw one of these in a shop today Marked up at £649, I guess I could haggle aswell it sounded really sweet. I have no idea if that is a good/bad price, please enlighten me, it was new with Status case,tags etc. Fretless unlined with side markers, twas a beauty. Guess this is nearly in the right forum as it was a "Bass For Sale"

Status dont publish prices except for the smart bass that start at £900. This has got to be a lot more expensive. I looked at the retro-active when I got my GB and it was about the same price.

Yup, think that's a steal. Even the old Electro 1's (with less desirable wood neck) come in at about £5-600ish.

The one on Loot is an Electro I (a bit cheaper than the new one). The Electro I had Maple neck, Rosewood board, piezo (no magnetic pickups) and didn't have the Rosewood top neither.
I'd buy this bass in a heartbeat if I wasn't a builder myself.

That's literally less than half price. I don't have my Status price guide on this computer, but it needs snapping up very quickly at that money! The new ones (Electro 3) have graphite neck & one soapbar pickup in addition to the piezo bridge units. Great bass!

That's a luverly looking bass and at that I price I would definitely say it's a no brainer, I'd snap this up at this price without hesitation!!

I've agreed a price on the one attached - may be the one on Loot but I can't see that link now.

Seemed like a bit of a steal at just under £250 so agreed a deal quite quickly.

Just fancied something to noodle around on at home

Needs a bit of TLC but nothing a good clean, some new strings & a volume pot won't cure (hopefully!)
