Merton Posted February 26, 2013 Posted February 26, 2013 I'm sure I've seen a pedal which does this but can't remember what it is... Basically want to combine it with a synthy/fuzzy effect to remove the attack from the notes. If there is one, can you change the length of the swell? Think of it as an auto volume pedal.... Quote
Beer of the Bass Posted February 26, 2013 Posted February 26, 2013 The EHX microsynth does this, among all the other stuff. It's what the attack delay slider does. It's probably overkill if you just need a pedal for that though! Quote
Merton Posted February 26, 2013 Author Posted February 26, 2013 Ah the Boss Slow Gear, that's the fella! Yes maybe the microsynth is a bit much for the one effect. Anyone want to build me one, or know anyone who might...? Quote
Merton Posted February 26, 2013 Author Posted February 26, 2013 Ah, the VFE Bumblebee and Bumblebee Jr look good. None in the UK that I can find though, haha! Quote
Beer of the Bass Posted February 26, 2013 Posted February 26, 2013 IIRC there was a Behringer copy of the Boss Slow Gear. If you can live with Behringer build quality (plastic enclosures), that might be an option. Quote
Merton Posted February 26, 2013 Author Posted February 26, 2013 Good call - a dead cheap way of finding out if it works the way I want. £21 on Amazon! Cheers Quote
GarethFlatlands Posted February 27, 2013 Posted February 27, 2013 Guyatone also do the SV2 Slow Volume. If you're handy with a soldering iron, BYOC do a clone of the Slow Gear. Quote
