I've had it set up beautifully with a brand new set of Picato flat wounds (total setup with strings £80) and it sounds amazing but, as I'm never going to be taking a fretless bass out live, I only need a fretless for my studio. I have 5 string basses already so maybe I just need a 4 string Precision style fretless.
