Rare as a rare thing

Ok so it's not a bass but it looks like cracking value at more than double it's original new price, I was trying to work out what makes it so rare and the only thing I can come up with is that it is the only one in this country with that serial number!

They are fairly rare, our guitarist has one and I've not seen many other ones up for sale, the price is a bit heart stopping though, our guitarist paid 60 quid for his and it's in great nick and came with a stand, a strap and a lead.

And it's FANTASTASTIC, apparently! Much better than merely FANTASTIC...
