It was given to him and then he obviously sold it on to this guy the moment he got back off tour - hardly a ringing endorsement! I'm sure its a lovely bass, but the back-story is carrying quite a premium. Now if it had been the bass Dave Pegg had used for 30 years it might be a different story.
