d_g
I know it's an obscure thought but while I was browsing potential gear this became an issue and I'm baffled! Say I had a flat bottomed (physically, not the sound!) amp like a markbass and a cab with a top handle like an Orange SP series. Has anyone ever come up with a way of putting the head neatly on top!? This is a genuine issue in pits etc where there is very little space and surely there must be a simple solution? I considered turning the cab sideways but that would make the feet that are supposed to 'connect with the stage' redundant. Genuinely stumped on this. Has anything been invented for this very purpose!?
discreet
Amp feet? Bit of old carpet? charic
You could cut a piece of polystyrene to fit over the handle?
Lee Carter
2 pieces of 2x2 cut to cab depth, little platform for amp. Take it further by adding a ply top so you make a little shelf
Beer of the Bass
I've dealt with this in the past by putting bigger feet on the head. You can get massive ones from suppliers like Blue Aran.
d_g
Thank you! I actually discovered the maplin feet right after I posted, I can carry on browsing gear happily now!
fatback
The foam a hard drive gets posted in works well. Most of them have on oblong shape cut out of the middle that sits neatly enough on the cab handle.
Bolo
Set the head on it's side [] next to the handle
