dannybuoy
I've received several PM's lately that were not accompanied by the usual notification email. Turns out Gmail is now filtering them as spam by default, so check your junk mail and add Basschat to the safe senders list! So while that isn't an issue with this particular site, I also was not getting any popups on Basschat, anyone else had this? icastle
I had noticed my PM popups seem a little bit erratic but I'd put it down to an IE10/Forum Software mismatch. What browser are you using?
2pods
I'm the same. Not getting any notifications at all, be it new post, PM, etc
dannybuoy
I'm using the latest version of Chrome on Windows.
icastle
Sounds like it's not a browser dependant issue then. I'll bounce it over to the Admins and see if they can shed any light on the problem.
Hamster
I noticed that for some unfathomable reason a lot of notifications were getting misdirected to the admin email inbox. I have flagged it up and so it's on the list of things to figure out how to fix.
dannybuoy
Getting my email notifications through now I've sorted my spam filters - I'll let you know next time I get a PM whether or not I get a pop up on BC!

dannybuoy
All working fine for me now, popups included. Check your junk mail folders, especially if you use Gmail!
Jacqueslemac
It's not just PMs. The issues in this thread haven't been resolved yet.
icastle
It's not just PMs. The issues in this thread haven't been resolved yet.
I seem to recall that this issue was tied in with a software upgrade from the manufacturer of the board software (i.e. the core software, not the parts that we customise). If so, the manufacturer now knows of the issue and will rectify it in a future release - until that happens we're kinda stuck.
2pods
I don't use Gmail for BC, and there is nothing in my Junk folders. Would it have anything to do with me changing ISP ? It's still the same email address though, as I have a domain.
