RAY AGAINST THE MACHINE
Stumbled across the Markbass the other day. If I already have podfarm, is there any point in getting the Markbass studio software. BTW , isn't it about time Garageband Had some bass amps in its collection.? What do you think? lapolpora
I haven't tried the Podfarm but I have Mark Studio V1 and IK Multimedia's Ampeg SVX. I've had very limited success with both and wouldn't buy either again. When mixing I've spent time with both and have always gone for regular EQ and compressor plugins over the amp simulators. I don't find either of them useable in the projects that I have worked on. However I have used just the heads from Mark Studio and used a different plugin for cab and room simulation to good effect though (B-Room from MOTU's DP8) which made me feel better about buying MS. I haven't tried Mark Studio V2, but I couldn't recommend it based on my knowledge of V1.
RAY AGAINST THE MACHINE
Thanks for that ,) it's not cheap either, considering I got the podfarm free with my toneport interface .
