thewalruswaspaul
I am thinking of removing the pickguard on my Urge MX Bass , however there is a little bit of gap in the bottom of the neck join (see picture) , will it be ok to remove the pickguard , I dont want anything bad happening to my neck due to moisture getting in the gap , however it is not unusual to have a gap in the bass or treble side of a neck pocket so I do not think this will be a problem , what do you think? budget bassist
It's only a small gap, no harm should come of it. Unless you're keeping it in like a shed or anything it should be fine
