krispn
The m80 is us top unit. The drive is 'modern' but the basic clean mode is great. The difference with the cour switch is noticeable in a good way. I'm using one in a covers band and it gives me 2 usable bass tones in the clean channel one classic one modern just brith that switch. Having a clean blended drive is nice too. Worth a look I'd say.
Gully35
I've narrowed it down to the Radial J48 or Sfx m:D2. Does anyone recommend one over the other?
terocious
I just changed my SansAmp PBDDI to Aguilar Tone Hammer preamp pedal which I like very much!
Lozz196
I just changed my SansAmp PBDDI to Aguilar Tone Hammer preamp pedal which I like very much!
I`ve just got hold of one of those. Tried one at The Bass Show and was knocked out by it. Unlike a lot of the other DIs I`ve used, this one doesn`t seem to add its own flavour/colour to the tone. Only used it at home so far, but I can set it to exactly the same tone I get from my practice amp, so this may be my eq/DI that`s always in the line, and go to desk from this, rather than the amp. Makes thing easier if using provided rigs at multiple band gigs.
